India Can Fly Mask-Less

India's civil aviation ministry recently said the use of face masks is not compulsory during air travel, but passengers should preferably use them amid the declining number of COVID-19 cases.

In a communication to airlines, the ministry indicated the decision aligns with the government's policy of a graded approach to COVID-19 management response, reported PTI on November 16, 2022.

India made the use of face masks while flying mandatory in May 2020.
