UK Confirms Additional Deaths Related to COVID-19 Vaccines

The United Kingdom Medicines & Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA) reported as of June 23, 2021, several thousand deaths are expected to have occurred, naturally, within 7 days of the many millions of COVID-19 vaccines administered.

Three COVID-19 vaccines, Pfizer - BioNTech, COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca, and COVID-19 Vaccine Moderna, are currently being used in the UK.

Up to June 16, 2021, the MHRA had received 425 Yellow Card reports of suspected adverse drug reactions to the Pfizer- BioNTech vaccine in which the patient died shortly after vaccination.

And 904 Yellow Card reports for the COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), and 5 for the COVID-19 Vaccine Moderna. 

The majority of these Yellow Card reports in the UK were in older people or people with underlying illnesses, says the MHRA.

At the time of this report, over 127,954 people across the UK have died within 28 days of a positive test for COVID-19. The majority of COVID-19 cased (4m) and deaths (113k) have been confirmed in England.

Furthermore, the MHRA says 'vaccination is the single most effective way to reduce deaths and severe illness from COVID-19.'
